We are seeking motivated and tech-savvy Service Desk Support to assist our IT team with deploying new computers and handling basic service desk requests.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and general troubleshooting techniques. Understanding of computer hardware and technical knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior IT support or help desk experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Windows 11 Support: Desktop/laptop support in person and remotely.
  • New Computer Rollouts: Deploy and configure new laptops/desktops, install required software, and ensure devices are properly set up for employees.
  • Service Desk Support: Respond to basic IT service requests, including but not limited to:
  • Troubleshooting printing issues (e.g., reconnecting to network printers, clearing print queues, checking printer drivers).
  • Assisting with password resets and basic account access issues.
  • Helping users with Wi-Fi and network connection problems.
  • Fixing basic Outlook and email issues (e.g., unable to send/receive emails, configuring accounts).
  • Resolving minor software installation errors and ensuring applications run smoothly.
  • User Assistance & Documentation: Provide step-by-step guidance to users for common IT issues and contribute to internal knowledge base articles.
  • General IT Support: Assist the IT team with additional tasks as needed, including asset tracking and hardware inventory management.
