As a Service Make-Ready Technician, you are the maestro of move-in magic, orchestrating the transformation of vacant apartment homes into pristine havens ready to welcome new residents. You are the artist behind the scenes, wielding paintbrushes, tools, and cleaning supplies to create a symphony of sparkling surfaces, functional fixtures, and inviting ambiance. Your meticulous attention to detail and passion for perfection ensure that every apartment is a masterpiece, leaving a lasting impression on our valued residents.

Responsibilities

  • Transform vacant apartment homes into move-in ready havens, meticulously cleaning, repairing, and preparing each unit to exceed resident expectations.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the community, ensuring that grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean, inviting, and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the Service Team to address any necessary repairs or replacements, ensuring that every apartment is in pristine condition.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including patching drywall, painting, replacing light bulbs, and fixing leaky faucets, ensuring that every detail is addressed with precision.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units, ensuring that all appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units are in perfect working order.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on general maintenance experience, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to maintenance procedures.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
