About The Position

We are looking for a Service Office Associate in our Arden, NC office. This is a full-time, on-site position. This role supports the Service Department in managing incoming customer and technician communications to maintain a positive first impression for all callers and visitors. Pay: $20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience. Annual profit sharing. Benefits: Two Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical Plans (non-tobacco) offered at no premium cost to all employees. Requirements

Experience in the HVAC Service industry highly preferred
Microsoft office suite
Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude
Self-motivated / self-starter
Excellent communication and customer services skills
Proofreading, grammar, and business writing skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor and positive, caring attitude
Must be able to work independently and without supervision
Able to work at a computer for 8 or more hours per day
Ability to pass a full background check and drug test

Responsibilities

Receiving incoming service calls, ensuring proper communication with customers
Perform clerical functions, including generating service work orders and purchase orders
Identify, source, acquire, and ensure timely delivery of necessary parts
Prepare proposals for customer review and approval
Compiling reports and reviewing for accuracy upon work order completion
Help resolve customer complaints efficiently and report incidents to management
Provide administrative support, including preparing tailored and confidential correspondence
Collaborate with the fulfillment team to organize departmental resources and achieve goals
Make outbound calls to our customers for feedback regarding their service appointment
Other duties as needed for the smooth operation of our Service Department
Assist with support of Construction Department and general office duties as needed
