About The Position

Service Operations and Warehouse Manager The Service Operations and Warehouse Manager, in partnership with General Manager, is responsible for achieving depot results through leading a high performance team within assigned depot. Schedule, Location & Travel: The RTI depot is located in Tualatin, OR 97062 Monday - Friday, 5:00 am start time Flexibility is required, including on-call availability as needed to support business operations This is an onsite position and does require time on customer sites in the field Travel up to 20% with minimal overnight travel expected Compensation: This is an exempt position. Salary is determined by location, market factors, and experience. Bonus Potential: 15% annual target (with the ability to earn higher)

Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Responsible for leading and developing team to drive high performance and Restaurant Technologies values. Responsible for developing, managing and coaching depot employees in person and virtually. Accountable for workforce planning, training and on as well as workforce engagement, performance management, recognition, development and coaching. Leads the implementation of systems and processes to maintain a highly engaged workforce. Accountable for actively addressing engagement and individual performance issues.
  • Customer Service & Reliability: Responsible for executing high levels of customer service in an efficient manner. Collaborates with Regional Planner, Ops Support Admin and other functional partners to ensure ability to meet customer demand. Ensures that customers are satisfied and any inquiries, incidents and issues are resolved in timely manner.
  • Operational Performance: Responsible for achieving depot operations performance through continuous improvement practices and leading Operational Excellence. Specific responsibilities include: managing depot expenses, service and distribution performance through efficient operations. Responsible for leading the overall safety, DOT and quality control management practices within a depot.
  • Warehouse Cleaning and Maintenance: Execute daily SSOPs (Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures) to ensure the depot environment maintains sanitary conditions required for food safety standards to prevent contamination of our oil products. Complete related HACCP documentation and report any deficiencies. Cleaning responsibilities may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, emptying trash, cleaning and restocking restrooms, wiping surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas. Participate in and contribute to the depot facility's safety goals.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Ensure fleet upkeep by adhering to maintenance schedules, cleaning filters, and pressure washing trucks. Conduct regular verification checks on delivery truck flow meters to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards. Perform calibration as needed. Perform repairs and replacements of pumps and hoses on fleet trucks; manage and handle swappable oil tanks, including lifting and installing tanks, as required. If you have a valid CDL, you may be asked to move our DOT regulated trucks within the depot or transport them as needed. If you do not have a CDL, you still may be asked to move/transport our smaller vans and trucks, as needed.
  • Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management: Oversee the shipping of materials to customers, prepare corporate returns and manage the weekly receiving of cooking oil tanker trucks. Track daily inventory of cooking oil and mechanical parts in the warehouse; proactively identify and replenish low-stock items. Verify oil deliveries by checking the certificate of analysis against required specifications; escalates issues to corporate contacts if specifications are missing or out of range. Inspect oil samples for contaminants and conduct warehouse inspections to ensure there are no hazards or deficiencies. Operate a forklift to safely move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and adherence to all safety protocols. Load fleet vehicles with cooking oil for daily delivery routes.
