About The Position

Service Porter Luther Miller Hill Subaru is seeking a service porter with exceptional customer service skills. As a service porter, you can expect: Interacting with customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring they have a positive experience. Assisting service advisors with customers, such as beginning the check-in process, quick checks in the service drive (checking/adjusting tire pressure, performing lug nut re-torque, or changing wiper blades), and more. Moving vehicles after check-in from the service drive to the parking lot. Assisting service advisor tasks such as pulling up customer vehicles at check-in/check-out, completing rental paperwork, relaying information between advisors and technicians, etc. Providing support to other departments, such as running parts or assisting with shuttle services. Any other tasks requested of the service manager or fixed ops director to help the service department run smoothly

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills: Porters must have a positive attitude and be comfortable greeting customers, retrieving vehicles, and providing support for a positive experience.
  • Comfortable with physical activity: The role requires being on your feet, occasionally working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, snow, rain), and moving quickly.

  • Providing support to other departments, such as running parts or assisting with shuttle services.
  • Any other tasks requested of the service manager or fixed ops director to help the service department run smoothly
  • Moving customer vehicles from the service drive to stalls and parking lot or from service lot to customer pick up area, ensuring efficient service flow.
