Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Service Team Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC! Under guidance of a supervisor or manager, the Underwriting Assistant’s primary responsibilities service support for both the commercial and personals departments.

Requirements

• Must acquire state property and casualty agent licenses within 90 days of hire date
• Minimum education required: High School diploma
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Exceptional telephone demeanor
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to all departments.
• Maintains spreadsheets for items such as employee directory, carrier commission changes, and employee license compliance.
• Directs incoming calls or voicemails to appropriate party.
• Receives all mail and packages.
• Scans and distributes all incoming mail.
• Reviews and forwards all incoming checks to lockbox or return to sender.
• Reviews and creates tasks for items received in general email boxes.
• Processes policies, endorsements, audits, notices and other tasks for all Underwriting/Sales Teams.
• Receives and processes all urgent or missing policy and endorsement requests.
• Provides reports for policy renewals, invoice checklists and others as needed.
• Assists Underwriting/Sales teams with issuing non-renewals/conditional renewals as warranted by carrier guidelines.
• Assists with internal self audits to ensure compliance with states, carriers and Brown & Brown.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Profit Center and Service Team Leaders.
