The Service Technician III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. This technician operates with minimal supervision and is skilled in addressing advanced technical issues, often serving as a resource for junior technicians. What you’ll be doing (and doing well!): Install, program, and configure advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and integrated security platforms. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, providing timely resolutions to technical issues. Conduct regular system inspections, preventive maintenance, and software upgrades to ensure optimal system functionality. Document all service activities, including installation, repairs, maintenance, and testing procedures. Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of security equipment and systems. Assist in the planning and implementation of new security projects. Maintain compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
