We’re currently looking for a Service Writer to coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs by communicating customer needs to our service team. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, processing orders, tracking repairs, and handling customer inquiries to ensure a smooth service experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in computer systems and office software applications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to interpret customer concerns and effectively communicate technical issues to the service team
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, track required parts, and provide time projections for scheduled repairs
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by effectively addressing their service needs
• Update and manage computerized customer profiles to ensure accurate records
• Monitor customer service history to schedule routine maintenance and identify future repair needs
• Coordinate and schedule work orders for Service Technicians to optimize efficiency
• Clearly communicate repair costs, required parts, and service details to customers, ensuring transparency throughout the process
• Document repair job details in the company system and create clear, concise repair instructions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
