The Services and Infrastructure team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join the platform. BGL’s growing Service and Infrastructure team focuses on several key areas: Environmental Infrastructure, Energy Transition, Digital Infrastructure, Transportation & Logistics Infrastructure, Facility & Field Services, Professional Services and Tech-Enabled Services. This opportunity is open to our offices in Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL or New York, NY.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience focused on mergers and acquisitions investment banking, preferably within the infrastructure and environment space
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong sell-side M&A experience, as well as experience in buy-side and capital raising transactions
- FINRA Licenses 63 & 79
- Proven track record of strong transaction execution including new business presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other related materials
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and organization skills
Responsibilities
- Support senior bankers in transaction execution and client management
- Lead day-to-day execution of transactions
- Manage deal team junior bankers and review their work product
- Leads development of key engagement marketing materials, including but not limited to: detailed financial and valuation models, memorandums and other transaction related materials.
- Assists with identification of potential investors, lenders, buyers, and acquisition targets
- Manage transaction execution timeline
- Supports with business development efforts
- Provides mentorship to junior banking team members
