About The Position

The Project Manager II for the Services Team will plan, schedule, monitor, evaluate and direct projects, ensuring they meet established time, cost and objectives, while working on installation projects. The Project Manager develops and manages the project’s change control procedures and effectively utilizes all available methodologies and tools, culminating in client acceptance of results. The Project Manager conducts project progress reviews with client and account team personnel, providing contingency and problem resolution plans as required. Given the occasional customer interaction, up to 25% travel is expected. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in retail industry, particularly store operations.
  • Ability to work within a project team environment where results will be based on cooperation with and/or influence of others
  • MS Project experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and driving issues to closure, with a focus on successful results.
  • Meets deadlines and produces high quality work
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements
  • Customer facing experience
  • Services background
  • Strong interpersonal skills are critical in this customer-facing role
  • PMP Certification or demonstrated plan to achieve

Responsibilities

  • Establish and leads a delivery team on small to medium projects or as a segment of a larger engagement. Reviews and understands project scope. Develops and manages project plan and resources. Builds small to medium project plans independently, or larger plans with guidance from senior project managers. Identifies resource requirements. Manages task assignments and conducts team meetings. Produces and distributes project documentation. Monitors and controls project and manage day-to-day activities. Identify issues and tracks to resolution. Manages Change Control. Manages cost/ schedule/ resource variances.
  • Communicates project status internally and with customer and conducts status meetings. Establishes client follow-up/monitor process. Ensures client expectations are met/exceeded.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement. Actively contributes to knowledge-sharing sessions. Conducts lessons learned with project team.
  • Responsible for managing completion of project tasks according to contract deliverables. Effectively manages project cost & communicates project financials accurately per the operations team. Maintain project database and project documentation throughout the project.
  • Assist in creating customer proposals. Occasional customer interaction. Interfaces with team leadership and external teams as appropriate to complete tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
