About The Position

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. The Company is not able to take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time for this position or commit to doing so in the future for individuals with current authorization to work via, for example, CPT or OPT, and would need sponsorship in the future We are currently seeking one entry-level Reporting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in validating and reporting financial settlements for energy markets. Reporting directly to the Settlements Architect, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including Energy Managers, Energy Originators, and Accounting staff.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Management Information Systems is preferred (Three years of related experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Object Oriented Programming knowledge, C# programming or JavaScript is a plus
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Business Intelligence software (such as Tableau or similar) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with relational databases.

Responsibilities

  • Validate energy settlement charges for a diverse portfolio of customers across multiple energy markets.
  • Format and deliver clear, concise reports to both internal and external stakeholders on an ad-hoc or scheduled basis.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data required for energy settlement in our internal systems.
  • Develop data visualizations to effectively communicate settlement results and other pertinent information.
  • Participate in the testing of new data integrations, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Design and document novel processes and procedures.
  • Support gathering and documenting business requirements for new reports, enhancements, and data integrations.
  • Assist with internal/external stakeholder requests by preparing data extracts and explaining report logic.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive validation/reporting tasks and propose process improvements; use approved AI tools to assist with documentation and analysis summaries while ensuring accuracy.
