About The Position

The HR Shared Services Coordinator is a key member of the centralized HR support team, responsible for managing employee service requests through a ticketing system, ensuring data accuracy across HR platforms, and providing administrative support for leave of absence processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering timely, consistent, and high-quality HR support.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or employee support roles
  • Experience working with ticketing or case management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Workday Help)
  • Strong understanding of HR data management and leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, STD, etc.)
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and service excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-volume, multi-state or global HR support environment
  • Familiarity with third-party leave administration and vendor coordination
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Manage and resolve assigned HR service tickets related to employee inquiries, transactions, and process support
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of ticket activity, resolution steps, and follow-ups in the case management system
  • Maintain data integrity across HR systems by auditing, updating, and validating employee records, position data, and organizational structures
  • Serve as the main liaison for HR partners regarding leave of absence policies and procedures
  • Partner with third-party leave administrators to monito and resolve leave cases
  • Research and resolve complex leave-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate communication and documentation
  • Collaborate with HR partners, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolution of cross-functional issues
  • Monitor service metrics and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and knowledge base content
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to service delivery, system enhancements, and employee experience
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks and employee service inquiries as needed
