The Shared Use Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) will support the Shared Use Security Manager and Program Security Operations, joining a cross-functional team to oversee all security aspects related to multifunction testing and engineering facilities. The Shared Use CSSO will work to ensure compliance with all programmatic requirements and Government regulations, including but not limited to the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, and the ICD-705 Tech Spec. Must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience working on SAP and/or SCI security programs.
  • Experience working in Physical Security (FFC/TEMPEST, Red/Black Separation).
  • Experience in tracking multiple projects until completion and keeping large amounts of documentation organized.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • DoD Clearance: Top Secret
  • Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
  • At least 6 years of National Security experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in varied environments including outdoor facilities, climbing ladders, and temperature extremes.
  • Related training with DCSA Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes and procedures to ensure continually high compliance levels and efficient operations.
  • Perform annual self-inspections, evaluate findings, and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government Inspections.
  • Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.
  • Inspect, prepare for accreditation, and maintain secure facilities in accordance with (IAW) ICD 705 standards.
