Requirements

  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification required
  • EM385-1-1 and 24-Hour Fall Protection Training preferred/required (as applicable)
  • Certified in rigging, signaling, and operating equipment
  • Proven ability to lead crews, manage resources, and deliver projects successfully
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent decision-making skills with a high level of accountability
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership style that is situational, team-focused, and results-driven
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to represent the company positively with customers and team members
  • High School Diploma and GED
  • 5-10 years in construction and sheet metal roofing industry
  • 2 years of leadership/team management experience
  • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
  • Some indoor office environments (approximately 20% office)
  • Primarily outdoor environments in all types of weather (approximately 80% fieldwork)
  • Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
  • Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, walking
  • Overtime and weekend work

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership and oversight of field crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are met
  • Conduct daily jobsite visits and inspections to ensure workmanship and OSHA compliance
  • Lead pre-construction meetings and coordinate with Project Managers and Foremen
  • Plan and schedule materials, equipment, subcontractors, and manpower to prevent delays
  • Proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues to maintain schedule and budget
  • Enforce safety standards, address hazards immediately, and stop work if necessary
  • Track project progress and communicate completion percentages for billing
  • Submit weekly reports detailing progress, safety, quality, and impacts
  • Identify and report change orders and cost impacts promptly
  • Perform final quality inspections and ensure projects are completed on time and under budget
