About The Position

SHIFT is seeking students who are passionate about well-being, enjoy talking with other students, and most importantly, love having fun! This is a great opportunity to gain leadership skills while having a positive impact on your campus community. SHIFT Makers will be responsible for serving students delicious zero-proof drinks at events across campus while engaging in interactions that foster community and conversation. Opportunities include direct partnerships with campus partners, community entrepreneurs, business owners, and local leaders in hospitality. With supervision from full-time, professional staff, SHIFT Makers will join a team of students to achieve the shared goals of 1) creating the campus culture they want to see and 2) learning directly from community leaders and entrepreneurs through professional development opportunities. SHIFT, in partnership with Sans Bar Austin, is looking to hire the ultimate SHIFT Makers—students serving the UT community in ways that shift the campus culture, especially when it comes to party culture.
