Eaton’s Power Quality Division is currently seeking a Shipper/Reciever II to join our team in Raleigh, NC, North Carolina. The Shipper/Reciever II provide manufacturing expertise and support including but not limited to, sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping or receiving position.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
Proficient understanding of Microsoft applications (for example Excel)
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Relocation assistance is not available for this only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the facility, 3301 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616 will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Ability to use good judgment when handling material, with a safety focus
Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
Must be certified in operation of forklifts to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy on job duties
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

You will exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the shipping, or Receiving, process and perform quality checks as instructed.
You will operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material
You will use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight.
You will prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperwork.
You will interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers and carriers to ensure proper delivery.
You will report irregularities, or equipment malfunctions
You will utilize problem solving skills and be required to train others as directed by your supervisor
You will need to coordinate with cross department functions, the materials department, external distributors and freight forwarders
You will be the subject matter expert in this role
