Primary Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures. Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures. Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked. Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation. Required to perform daily safety inspections per lift per shift. Use pallet-jack, staple gun, paper machine, bubble machine, weigh scale, banding equipment, and shrink-wrap machine to package merchandise for shipment. Use wireless RF gun (SAP) to scan every location and every box/pallet, to pick, pack, and ship customer orders. Safely operate stan up reach, high bay order picker to pick and load trucks. Work overtime as needed to maintain customer service. Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers, line lead, team leader, supervisor, and manager. Perform other tasks as assigned. Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 verification requirements. Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor. Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent, desired.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment.
  • Certified by Georg Fischer Central Plastics in the proper use and maintenance of lift trucks.
  • Must be able to pass Georg Fischer Central Plastics test in the proper use and maintenance of lift trucks.
  • Must be able to use Oracle and understand priority scheduling system.
  • Must be self-motivated to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work closely with others in a fast paced environment.
