About The Position

This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials in accordance with established procedures. This role supports inventory control, maintains required documentation, and ensures all shipping and receiving activities are performed safely, efficiently, and on schedule in support of operational objectives.

Requirements

Strong organization skills and work ethic, requiring minimal supervision.
Able to interact and communicate with suppliers, internal customers, and management team with tact and diplomacy and in accordance with the company customer service philosophy.
Able to effectively multitask with multiple customers.
Proven ability to provide meticulous attention to detail while meeting aggressive deadlines.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or shipping software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience a plus

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
Unload, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders accurately and on time
Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory systems
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to supervisors
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified)
Ensure shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams as needed
Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require
