Shipping and Receiving Clerk
About The Position
Nosco is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk on our first shift at our Lockport, NY facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will participate in activities relating to receiving, storing, shipping, and delivery of finished products to our customers coupled with material and supplies to the material handling/production group. In this role, you will… Actively monitor production schedule and stage all jobs accordingly. Keep all areas clean and organized. Complete all documentation and reporting accurately. Perform all activities related to inbound/outbound shipments. Perform various warehousing activities. Communicate with internal and external customers. Requirements
- Must have at least one year of forklift truck operating experience.
- Ability to coordinate and organize production areas in a high production environment.
- Able to perform under minimal supervision.
- Open to work in other areas during slow times.
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
