About The Position

As a design-build leader, our team has constructed and maintained mechanical systems for a wide variety of high-profile clients, including hospitals, data centers, manufacturers, hotels, universities, office buildings, and more. Job Summary Job Title – Shipping & Receiving Coordinator General Summary of Duties – Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments. Also supports general warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Communication - communicates clearly and concisely.
  • Interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and external parties
  • Policies & procedures – demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
  • PC skills – demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, scanners, and others as required.
  • Basic skills – Accuracy and attention to detail, adaptability, problem solving and teamwork.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs. independently, occasional lifting of heavier items with team assistance or equipment.
  • Frequent handling of boxed goods, palletized materials, and warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to read documentation, inspect deliveries, and operate equipment safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and piping materials a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, document, and verify all incoming equipment and material.
  • Prepare and package outbound shipments ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with company and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain detailed information related to project equipment received in-house.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments promptly and appropriately.
  • Stage equipment for internal project deliveries.
  • Communicate with supervisors, field leaders, purchasing, and project managers effectively regarding warehouse activity.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to shipments.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace.
  • Act as a backup to the tool coordinator when required.
  • Perform occasional basic maintenance in the building.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
