About The Position

Temp Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join a company that assembles air compressors and electrical generators in Henderson, Nevada . Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:45 pm. No weekends. Must be available for overtime. Requirements for Shipping and Receiving Coordinator: Minimum 1 year of experience with Shipping and Receiving or a similar environment Ability to use inventory-related computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as Excel spreadsheets, the ERP, and WHS management systems Must be able to safely operate a sit-down forklift; certification is preferred. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and E-Verify Must have steel-toe boots Prior experience in positions such as inventory associate, shipping and receiving clerk, warehouse coordinator, materials handler, stock clerk, or any inventory or logistics-related position is a plus! Responsibilities For Shipping and Receiving Coordinator: Pick, pack, and ship outbound transfer orders and component sales orders using ERP and WMS systems. Process and complete shipments of components according to established protocols to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Communicate proactively with production, planning, and inventory teams to coordinate shipments and resolve issues as they arise. Support all outbound inventory activities, including the documentation and tracking of shipments. Receive and check in inbound warehouse deliveries for components, ensuring all shipments are correctly documented into the ERP system. Conduct physical verification of received goods, report discrepancies or damages, and provide labeling information to the inventory and operations teams. Assist in the put-away process for inbound inventory, organizing items in designated warehouse locations with attention to detail as backup to Material Handlers.
