About The Position
JD Machine Corp. is hiring a Shipping & Parts Preparation Technician to join our team in Ogden, Utah. As a Shipping & Parts Preparation Technician, you will help ensure that finished parts are properly cleaned, prepared, and packaged for delivery to customers. Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (including email)
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Ability to measure using tools such as tape measures or calipers (preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, polishing, and preparing machined parts for shipment
- Inspecting parts for visual quality before packaging
- Carefully packaging components for safe delivery
- Assisting with shipping preparation and documentation
- Working with the team to ensure accurate and timely shipments
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area
