About The Position

Primarily responsible for the proper boxing of finished wheelchairs, accessories and related products for worldwide shipment. Responsible for compliance to Quality Systems Regulation (QSR).

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
0 - 1 year related experience and/or training in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for knowing the proper methods and procedures to disassemble and package accessories and related products.
Responsible for reading finished product work orders to verify: Proper product and all order accessories are included for shipment.
May be required to obtain forklift operators certification.
Responsible for reporting on a variety of matters such as scrap, safety, training, attendance, purchase orders, etc.
Participates in a self-managed team.
Assumes specific responsibilities on a rotating basis for activities/items such as team representative, team indicators, team meeting minutes, etc.
Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines.
Performs necessary preventative maintenance.
Responsible for following all CTPAT rules and regulations.
May work on special projects and work in other Materials areas as assigned.
