About The Position

Utilizes computer/system and the parcel shipping manifest computer/system for all shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. Ensure complete and accurate paperwork and documents for all shipments, receipts, and transactions.
Properly completes all Bill of Ladings.
Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure shipments are made per customer specs, and any special requirements as noted by Customer Service reps.
Contact carriers for shipments, and schedule parcel daily pickups.
Assists with continuous improvement projects.
Maintains inventory accuracy on all product, materials, and supplies.
Maintain a safe working environment; identify safety hazards and report them to management.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.
Other duties as requested by managers, lead personnel and/or supervisors.
Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping experience highly preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry is highly preferred.
