About The Position

Shipping Compliance Packer, Automotive Wheels Location: Saint Joseph, MI Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor or Designee Is this you? Do you enjoy turning a pick ticket into a perfectly prepared shipment? Are accuracy, label integrity, and neat pallets your calling cards? Do you like working with RF scanners, label printers, and case sealers to keep orders moving? What you’ll do Pack to spec: Read orders and ensure full compliance to customer requirements, including UPC verification, pack quantity, carton labeling, and skid pack quantity/orientation. Quality first: Inspect wheels and packaging for damage prior to packing and shipment. Keep it moving: Maintain safe, ergonomic product flow and a clean, organized station. Tech and tracking: Complete all required ERP/WMS transactions (Epicor experience is a plus) and utilize RF scanners and tablets. Tools of the trade: Set up and operate label printers/applicators, case sealers, and case coders. Broader support: Pick orders, palletize, dispatch shipments as needed, put away product, and take on other related tasks. What you bring Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience: 6 months in a performance-measured picking/packing environment (preferred) and 6 months with RF scanners (preferred); familiarity with warehouse safety regulations. Skills: ERP/WMS literacy (Epicor a plus); ability to operate or learn powered equipment and warehouse tools; strong basic math; follow written and verbal directions; meet productivity targets with accurate results; collaborate with other departments. Physical capabilities Frequent bending/stooping; repetitive hand and wrist motions. Lift up to 50 lbs. Extended standing and long-distance walking on the warehouse floor.
