Shipping Coordinator and HI Lo Operator Run and monitor daily inventory reports. Schedule delivery of all material by due date and according to customer and Sales requests. Calculate and configure multi-stop trucks prior to loading. Stage material in warehouse for inbound and outbound trucks. Arrange inner-plant transfers of material to accommodate scheduled deliveries. Ensure material is available for shipment and located in proper facilities. This includes communications with fab, packing, and drivers responsible for inner-plant transfers. Communicate urgent press, packing, paint, or fab needs to internal operating groups. Dispatch loads to carriers for all truckload, LTL, Customer Pick Ups, outside vendors, etc. Update Shipping Schedule in a timely manner. Print pick lists for shipping to load trailers. Highlight any urgent orders. Communicate with second and third shift employees on shipping needs. Manifest shipments in internal manufacturing operating system once trailers have been loaded. Tender documents to driver. Produce bill of ladings for all shipments. Address packing or damaged bundle issues with packing team. Ensure all material being loaded on trucks is packaged correctly and without damage. Receive, unload, verify, and process inbound material from suppliers, outside processors, customers, and any other shipments. Complete Customs paperwork requirements for international shipments. Monitor and arrange the retrieval of non-confirming material from customers, including unloading trucks and processing paperwork with alerts to QC and management. Answer, monitors and respond to all communications (emails, phone calls, text messages, etc.) Match up signed and returned Bill of Ladings with original paperwork and process for Accounting. Seek and implement consistent process improvement by identifying efficiencies. Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. On occasion, conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed. Maintians a safe, clean working environment. Participates in quality improvement efforts. Attend is required and complete any Company or outsourced trainings, as assigned. Escalate all shipping and warehousing issues to Logistics Manager and/or Logistics supervisor in a timely manner. Work weekend loading inner-plant trucks and staging material for outbound loads in the warehouse as required.
