Shipping Coordinator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator - 2nd Shift at our Highland, IL facility! The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $24.06 per hour along with a $.50/hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: In this function, you will: Operate mobile equipment to move, store, and distribute materials within the warehouse. Use RF scanners, computer systems, and basic math skills to track, verify, and process inventory. Safely operate stand-up forklifts or other material handling equipment as required.
Requirements
- Must have a High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience using computers and/or warehouse systems to complete daily work tasks.
- Previous experience operating Power Industrial Equipment (i.e. stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, crane, combi-lift, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team enviornment.
- Proficiently use computers and scanners in daily work.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Experience driving mobile equipment.
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing, production, or distribution experience.
