About The Position

Stage, load and unload raw materials in designated areas and flow racks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Detail Oriented
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Good Organizational Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Exhibit a professional demeanor
• Must be able to follow directions given by superior.
• Will be asked to cross train in order to fill vacant positions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials from truck in a timely manner.
• Verify what you have off- loaded and submit proper paperwork to receiving clerks promptly.
• Stage and put up conforming raw materials that QC has inspected in designated areas and flow racks.
• Complete daily inspection sheets.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and our safety procedure and policies.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S).
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Cross train to learn other positions in the receiving area and assist in those positions as needed.
