Shipping Forklift Driver
About The Position
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Shipping Forklift Driver responsible to move palletized product from one location to another, stack and restack product as directed. Requirements
- Must have Forklift Certification.
- Must be able to obtain a stand-up Forklift Certification.
- Must have shipping and warehouse loading experience.
- Must be familiar with Computer/Tablet device.
- Ability to safely drive a forklift on wet/dry cement floor.
- Must be able to use the double or single sit-down forklift.
- Must have experience driving a regular sit-down lift with a double blade attachment.
- Must be able to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S)
- Must have strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to read pallet ID’s.
- Ability to fill out documents as required.
- Must have written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to work as a picker, loader, and mover when necessary.
- Must pass preplacement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.
Nice To Haves
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish, a plus.
