About The Position

Oversee Shipping Department activities using the most cost effective methods
possible while meeting customer delivery expectations.

Requirements

• Able to speak, read, comprehend and write legible in English
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
• Qualified Forklift and/or Clamp Operator

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Associates Degree
• Prior experience in the Paper Mill industry
• Prior Military experience as a first-line supervisor
• One-year experience as a Forklift Operator
• Supervisory experience as a proven manager/leader

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and support all company policies and procedures.
• Provide training as necessary.
• Conduct shift overlap meeting with on-coming shift Supervisor to minimize errors.
• Coordinate forklift operators in daily routine of loading trailers according to customer specifications.
• Schedule deliveries using the most cost efficient, and time saving manner possible while still meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinate and communicate with Customer Service concerning delivery of product to customers.
• Accurately prepare bills of lading.
• Review forklift inspection sheets daily and prepare maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Ensure warehouse management properly maintained/stocked.
• Perform warehouse inventory, audit control, and management oversight
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
