DC 2nd Shift - Shipping Lead - Marshall Distribution Center
About The Position
Runnings is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Distribution Center Shipping Lead to join our team at the Marshall, MN distribution center. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and dedicated individual who demonstrates strong leadership, professionalism, and a consistent commitment to maintaining high safety standards. This position will assist in supervision of the 2nd shift, typically scheduled four days per week between the hours of 2:30 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. Occasional Friday and/or Saturday hours may be required during peak periods. Hourly Rate of Pay: $21-$24/hour (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities
- Controls costs through productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials.
- Responsible for enforcing Company policies of conduct and safety and initiates corrective action where necessary.
- Develops and maintains relationships with freight carriers to ensure on-time deliveries to the Distribution Center.
- Directly works with staff on processes and training.
- Identifies the causes of product losses and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Analyzes current procedures and new ideas to continuously improve productivity and efficiencies.
- Selects, develops, trains, coaches, and motivates staff.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed while receiving and splitting product.
- General building and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure product is properly received, stored, and ready to ship in a timely manner.
- Work directly with the shift Supervisors and Management to effectively carry out all duties.
- Any and all other duties as assigned
