About The Position

prepares and loads window and patio door products for scheduled deliveries, ensuring accuracy by verifying counts, scanning inventory, and completing required documentation. Also prepares UPS, LTL, and truckload shipments while maintaining safety and reporting any quality issues to management.

Requirements

High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED)
Must be able to speak and understand English
Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual production related tasks.
Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, computer, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects.
Must have a sense of urgency to meet daily goals.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be quality oriented.
Must be self-motivated and a team player.
Must be able to lift 50- 100 lbs. repetitively.
Must be able to handle large windows
Able to operate necessary equipment for the position: hand jack, telephone, computer, RF Scanner, etc.
Must be able to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
A criminal background check is required for all positions, upon offer of employment.

Nice To Haves

Preferred if previous experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, and window product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assist in the manual loading of windows on trucks for delivery as scheduled.
Verifies products to be shipped by comparing count to shipping list while noting discrepancies.
Perform inventory of products before delivery.
Scans products (windows / patio doors/ etc.) via barcode tags in and out of inventory.
Completes required paperwork.
Responsible to report safety and quality issues to management.
UPS, LTL, and truckload shipment preparation.
