About The Position

Responsible for accurately picking, receiving, shipping and packing deliveries. Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions Perform all job functions in a safe manner. Operate all types of forklifts; stand-up, sit down, and order pickers. Move pallets of product from lower to upper tiers of racking. Pull customer orders with accuracy and efficiency. Performs the final quality check for labels and packaging on finished product. Load, adjust and operate shrink-wrap and banding machine. Process shipments into operator scan gun system. Load and unload trucks Receive and pick-up product from production. Transfer finished product from Production to the proper locations in the warehouse. Perform inventory verification on products for the Sales Department at their request. Label shipments to be picked-up. Responsible for complying with Prescos policies and procedures Have an operating knowledge of Outlook Office 365 e-mail system.

Requirements

  • Follow instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
  • Use basic mathematics, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Speak and write basic sentences
  • Understand, write and speak English
  • Perform basic computer skills
  • Have extensive experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  • Ability to insert and remove product from high level racks.
  • Read basic signs, directions, and memos
  • Must be able to handle self in a professional manner with co-workers and customers.
  • Manual Material Handling Lifting 78 lb. Boxes of product from pallet to pallet or cart.
  • Carrying 19-78 lb. Boxes 2-3 feet throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Pushing Up to 500 lb. Cart on casters around warehouse.
  • Handling/ Grasping: Continuously handling boxes of product throughout an 8- hour shift
  • Bending/Twisting: Continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Standing/Walking: Continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Mechanical ability: Have the ability to operate machinery
  • Verbal ability: Have the ability to communicate clearly and in complete sentences.
  • Vision/depth perception: Be able to see clearly, close up and at a distance. Able to differentiate product colors.
  • Hearing: Must have the ability to hear horns, machinery in operation, and co-worker voices.
  • Multi-tasking: Must have the ability to complete two or more tasks at a time.
  • Social interaction: Able to handle self in a professional manner with co-workers and customers.
  • Personal initiative: Must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision and maintain a working, up-to-date knowledge of products, procedures, and services.
  • Attendance Must report on time for scheduled work shift and follow company attendance policies.
