This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely shipments, and compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of shipping and receiving experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Experience using ERP/WMS systems and shipping documentation

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging; verify quantities, condition, and documentation
  • Inspect deliveries for damage, temperature compliance, and food safety requirements
  • Record receipts and shipments accurately in inventory or ERP systems
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging finished goods
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to support daily operations
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and lot traceability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified)
