About The Position

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is looking for a shipping receiving clerk to perform manual and clerical tasks in the R&O Receiving area and be responsible to receive products and materials from vendors, customers and government furnished material or equipment, according to procedures and work instructions. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Computer knowledge with application software, Oracle MS Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Lift 20 pounds minimum.
  • Will be required to perform job requirements independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • One year of experience in shipping/ receiving environment and clerical experience in a customer service-oriented organization.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Responsibilities

  • Un-packaging and preservation of products.
  • Receive repair and overhaul returns.
  • Use of Computer (Oracle, excel, word).
  • Prepare documentation for repair/overhaul of units.
  • Responsible or the accurate preparation, completion, and control of forms and documents used in the department.
  • Work in the most efficient manner consistent with preventing damage to equipment materials and to expedite handling.
  • Create receiving documents for all incoming materials or products and move to designated areas.
