About The Position

In this function, you will: Optimize packaging based on product. Ability to cross-train in all department functions. Identify, count, sort, package, and tag completed parts for shipment without assistance. Load and unload LTL and flatbed trucks. Build crates / work in woodshop to support packaging product. Read and interpret pick tickets accurately. Licensed to operate powered industrial trucks. Train other employees necessary. Perform receiving functions on all inbound freight, including verification and data entry Handle incoming product inspections to print and quality specifications Responsible for adherence to receiving and Quality procedures Process returned products for restocking, notify Quality upon receipt of non-conforming material Must have previous forklift truck experience (stand-up or sit-down). No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Ability to work with and understand trucking manifests, packing lists, etc. Ability to read measuring tape, calipers, square, protractor and Engineering drawings Ability to learn SAP Shipping functions. Ability to utilize shipping specific tools.

Requirements
