About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for shipping of finished goods and receiving of raw materials. Inventory accuracy and maintaining Warehouse Quality.

Requirements

• Possesses the technical skills and knowledge required to perform essential tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
• Demonstrates the willingness and ability to train or coach others in the technical arena.
• Applies general clerical/trade knowledge and skills.
• Understands basic methods, records, specifications and/or equipment within own work unit.
• Formal training and knowledge required, equivalent to High School Education.
• Requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Loading – outbound shipments and transfers
• Receiving – unloading inbound purchase orders and transfers
• Forklift – Inspects forklift truck at the beginning of each shift
• Forklift – Operates the unit in a safe, efficient manner and makes certain unit is always being charged when not in use
• Makes sure trucks are safely positioned, bulldog is engaged, checked before loading
