About The Position

Responsibilities: • Reports directly to the warehouse supervisor. • To properly handle, stack, store, weigh and weigh count inventory. • Working knowledge of warehouse layout/facility locations. • Keep accurate material inventory records; raw material and finished goods by which cycle counting/reconciliation will be required. KPI’s will be given and monitored against company-wide goals. • Will be required to work on the computer to enter data into the system, make inquiries, as well as scan inventory into and out of warehouse locations with hand held scanner. • Process any paperwork required by the customer, management or system to include labels as well as utilize external resources/systems as required-customer/logistics. (ie.POD’s, Packing slips, tracking info, etc) • Keep adequate flow of material and/or finished goods, components, packaging material, whichever may apply. • Handle and operate the material handling equipment; forklift and stand up forklifts; load and unload whichever is applicable and maintain the forklift license/training program. • Must have the capability to understand and convey operation data to another individual. • Keep work area clean and orderly with weekly cleaning tasks to ensure safety. • Be in compliance when staging shipments that it meets customer requirements. • Carry out any instructions and other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor or Controller. • Modify work hours to support facility/customer needs when deemed necessary by supervisor. • Entry on Omnitracker tickets as applicable • Cycle Count weekly as well as participate in annual physical inventory as required. • Support FIFO (First in first out) • Perform duties in safe manner. • Load and unload trucks as required. • Communicate status updates during shift changes. • Handle and prepare, move, remove labels, etc. on returnable dunnage Qualifications: High school education or equivalent Math skills (Counting, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Converting to metric unit of measure Forklift certification & maintain license annually. Demonstrate ability use, move, and manipulate pallets in the racking systems. Complete paperwork timely, completely, and accurately. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Math skills (Counting, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Converting to metric unit of measure
  • Forklift certification & maintain license annually.
  • Demonstrate ability use, move, and manipulate pallets in the racking systems.
