SUMMARY OF POSITION: The 2nd Shift Shop Assistant role is designed to support the lead mechanic in the maintenance, repair, and smooth operation of vehicles and machinery.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environment
Delivers quality work and services
Lift heavy objects for prolonged periods of time
Work collaboratively in a team environment
Maintain good attendance and report to work on time everyday

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of lawn and landscaping equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Sharpen mower blades
Pick up parts and supplies
Light routine repair/maintenance such as oil changes and tire repair/replacement
Clean and wash equipment and vehicles inside and out
Fueling mowers and trucks
Safety / Security awareness and support with building and grounds maintenance
Shop clean up
Perform other duties as assigned
