Shop Helper / Parts Runner
About The Position
Stripe-A-Zone, a Frontline Road Safety Group company, is seeking a dependable and motivated Shop Helper / Parts Runner to support daily shop operations and help keep the team running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the shop, mechanics, and operations team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a shop setting, a valid and active driver’s license, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a true go-getter who is a self-starter, dependable, and willing to work beyond the normal scope of the role when needed.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Some mechanical experience or previous experience as a mechanic or apprentice
- Experience handling parts, tools, or shop supplies
- Familiarity with inventory, shop organization, or equipment support
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts, tools, materials, and supplies as needed
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the shop, yard, and inventory areas
- Support mechanics and shop personnel with basic tasks and day-to-day needs
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming parts and materials
- Help maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate when supplies are low
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Assist with vehicle, equipment, and shop readiness
- Interact professionally with vendors, customers, and team members
- Provide general support to the shop and operations team as needed
- Perform other duties outside the normal scope of the role when business needs require
