Shop Helper/ Apprentice- 2nd Shift

About The Position

Shop Helper is responsible for assisting all service personnel, especially Service Technicians, in keeping the shop clean and functioning at a high level of efficiency. Shop Helper Duties and Responsibilities: Move trucks in and out of stalls for technicians. Test drive trucks that need extended miles put on to ensure repair is complete. Provide steam cleaning/pressure washing assistance as needed. Clean shop floors, tool areas, shop tools and equipment, and other areas as needed. Deliver parts to the technicians from the parts department. Retrieve parts from outside vendors when necessary. Assist in shop tool repair. Assist technicians with repairs when no tools or technical expertise is required; such as holding a component in place or depressing a clutch pedal. Manage retained warranty parts as directed. Shop Helper Qualifications: Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Organizational skills.
