About The Position

Diagnose, repair, or rebuild compressors, engines, accessory drives, oil and water pumps and other related equipment. The candidate will need to be a mechanically inclined, motivated, and dependable individual. Job responsibilities may be altered by the Field Service Manager as customer and/or company requirements change.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong grasp of Microsoft office required
Ability to read and understand schematics
Ability to work independently or on a team
On time to all meetings / appointments / and scheduled engagements
Disciplined and reliable work habits
Willingness to learn from a variety of formal and informal training opportunities
Dedicated to completion of responsibilities and work safety
Mechanically inclined
Willing to accept responsibilities within a team environment

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Associate degree a plus
Technical Trade School a plus
Compressor preventative maintenance experience preferred
Experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors a plus

Responsibilities

Diagnose, test, and perform repairs including complete overhauls on equipment to get it ready for service in the field.
Order parts for repairs and machine some parts to correct specifications.
Consult with field staff and assist in diagnosing needed repairs
Maintain work area and equipment in clean, safe condition
