We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast. The Mason Division of O&G Industries is one of the largest suppliers of stone and masonry products on the East Coast, with multiple showroom locations across Connecticut. Our showrooms help homeowners, contractors, architects, and design professionals select materials for a wide range of interior and exterior projects , including patios, walkways, fireplaces, veneers, outdoor living spaces, and custom stone applications. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working with clients to select materials and bring their project ideas to life. You will guide customers through product selections, provide recommendations, and support projects from initial inquiry through final order.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated work ethic with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to listen carefully to customer needs and provide thoughtful product recommendations
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Retail, showroom, or sales experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers into the showroom and help them identify the right products for their project needs
  • Present product options in a professional, consultative manner to drive sales across multiple product categories
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes to convert inquiries into completed sales
  • Track and follow up on customer orders to ensure a smooth and positive purchasing experience
  • Proactively reach out to existing and past customers to build relationships, reactivate dormant accounts, and generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently recommend solutions
