Larson Company, a family-owned wholesale distributor of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Datacom products with 8 locations in the upper Midwest. There are 3 Pahl’s Designer Showroom locations in Wisconsin and South Dakota. As we celebrate our 95th anniversary, we remain dedicated to our employees, customers and vendors, and are positioned to move into the future as a family owned and operated business. We have a great opportunity to lead our Showroom Sales Team at our Hudson, WI Showroom. This is an on-site position that will provide quotes, sales and service, and will work with internal and external customers to ensure company goals are met and long-term positive customer relationships are cultivated.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail/direct and/or showroom experience
  • Solid leadership skills with a desire to listen, train, inspire others, motivate, guide, and manage a team, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration
  • A strong sales presence. Passion for delivering great customer experience and maintaining positive relationships
  • Ability to conduct job site visits and other occasional travel (10%)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate within a multifunctional team
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Detail oriented, consistent, and tenacious
  • Solid computer and math skills
  • Valid US Driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, retail management, or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of showroom merchandising and visual display techniques is preferred
  • Understand the basics of design and interior decorating preferred
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Customer Experience Drive showroom sales through consultative service, product expertise, and lead follow-up
  • Build lasting customer relationships and resolve concerns quickly
  • Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Maintain an attractive, customer-focused showroom environment
  • Team Leadership Train, coach, and schedule showroom staff
  • Set expectations, monitor performance, and foster a high-service culture
  • Operations & Inventory Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and stock accuracy
  • Maintain organized, fully merchandised displays
  • Manage daily transactions and support showroom profitability
