Shuttle Driver-Transportation (Part time)

About the position

Under the leadership of the security department director and the shuttle supervisor, the shuttle driver is responsible for driving staff to and from work from designated locations in the community while abiding by all traffic laws. The shuttle driver is responsible for enforcing all established hospital policies and procedures. Important dimensions of this position consist of professional commitment, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public/customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Drive staff to and from work from designated locations in the community.
• Abide by all traffic laws.
• Enforce all established hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional commitment and good public/customer relations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in driving large shuttle buses.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic vehicles.
• Good customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid California class A or B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Acceptable driving record of three points or less.

Nice-to-haves

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
