Shuttle Driver (Part Time)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for a part time SHUTTLE DRIVER position. Address : Alexian Brothers Medical Center - 800 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Note: online applications accepted only . Schedule : Part time schedule; flexible. 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday. More details upon interview. Requirement : Must have a valid driver's license. Perks: Paid training/certifications! Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour. Job Summary Summary: This individual will provide transportation services to passengers by driving a van/shuttle within a designated area for a client. They will be expected to professionally interact and communicate with all passengers while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
- 1 -2 years relevant customer service or driving experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changes quickly
Responsibilities
- Safely transports passengers along designated routes as arranged by schedule or dispatch
- Reviews and submits vehicle work tickets when required
- Cleans vehicles daily and performs basic maintenance functions (fills gas, adds fluids, etc.) as needed
- Responds to emergency needs as dictated by road conditions, vehicle situations, traffic conditions or environmental situations
- Provides overall support and customer service to all facets of the operation
- Provides feedback to management on how services may be improved
- Performs other duties as assigned
