CDL- A Shuttle Driver- Nights
About The Position
Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Shuttle Driver This role shuttles unloaded double trailers from our Flint drop yard to our Grand Rapids Distribution Center, then shuttles loaded trailer back to our Flint drop yard (twice per shift) Schedule Night Shift that Departs from Flint Michigan. Sunday- Thursday- Start time 6:30pm, typical end time 5:00am About Us: Van Eerden is a fourth generation, family-owned foodservice distributor based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. About the Job: Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of double trailers to and from Flint Drop yard to Grand Rapids Distribution Center. Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment. Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance. Perform all work within Company safety practices. Requirements
- 21+ years of age.
- 1 year of experience preferred. May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
- Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
- Doubles Endorsement is required.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Scree and Drug Clearinghouse.
- Background check free from felonies.
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- Medical card.
