About The Position

The Parking and Shuttle Services Ambassador maintains a premier level of service by greeting guests, assisting them in utilization of valet services, providing directional/way finding/self-park assistance, ensuring efficient traffic flow within parking facilities and roadways, and issuing parking violation notices in support of hospital's parking policies. This position will also provide transportation, including transport of guests and/or employees, using Mission Health-operated vehicles. The Parking and Shuttle Services Ambassador will also answer general questions regarding Mission Health and its services, while contributing to the overall safety of Mission Health facilities. The Parking and Shuttle Services Ambassador assists leadership in providing high quality services, and ensuring that relevant policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid NC driver's license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.
  • CDL (commercial driver's license) with passenger endorsement.
  • Minimum of two years of satisfactory driving experience.
  • At least one (1) year of related experience in public contact, guest service, education, or other similar field.
  • Ability to proactively engage with guests in a sincere way.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences.
  • Ability to write legibly and coherently; and to speak clearly and distinctly.
  • Ability to utilize a two-way radio, telephone, and/or other equipment necessary for the position.
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents, policies, and directives.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Federal and State of North Carolina motor vehicle laws.
  • Knowledge of regional roadway networks and geography.
  • Skilled in operating a public transportation vehicle, heavy truck, or other heavy vehicle.
