About The Position

Position Summary: The Sign Builder - Receiving receives and inspects incoming supplies and raw materials for quality and quantity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. Receives and inspects incoming supplies and raw materials for quality and quantity. Validates packing slips to purchase orders and enters inventory data into computer. Routes receivables to proper locations. Maintains consignment warehouse. Maintains inventory and cycle counting. Monitors Hazardous Material labeling. Orders supply items and assist in packaging items for shipment. Familiarity with ERP Syteline system is preferred. However, experience in any type of ERP system is required for this position. Requirements Minimum Education and Qualifications: High school diploma/GED Excellent computer and organizational skills and ability to adapt to software programs. Ability to operate forklift truck. Ability to operate overhead crane. Exposure to paint and solvent fumes with possible skin contact, aluminum and steel grinding dust, and moderate noise. No unusual hazards or risks beyond normal with adherence to safety rules and proper use of PPE. Ability to stand and walk for 75% of an 8-10 hours/day. Ability to sit for 25% of workday. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50-80 lbs. Ability to maintain correct postures while sitting, reaching, bending, crouching, kneeling and twisting.
