Leadership Opportunity: Site Lead – Armed Security Officer – Miramar Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour | Full-Time | Bi-Weekly Pay We are seeking a professional, dependable, and self-motivated Site Lead – Armed Security Officer to join our team in Miramar. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment. This leadership role requires strong decision-making skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage site operations effectively. Armed Security Officers must provide their own firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster. Position Overview The Site Lead – Armed Security Officer is responsible for protecting property, personnel, and assets while serving as the primary point of contact at the assigned location. This role includes overseeing daily security operations, ensuring compliance with post orders, and responding appropriately to routine and emergency situations. Officers may monitor surveillance systems, conduct interior and exterior patrols, control site access, and respond to alarms or incidents. Firearms must be carried and maintained in a professional, responsible, and non-threatening manner at all times.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Florida Security D & G Licenses
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Minimum 2 years of armed security experience
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Approved firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening

- Bilingual is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct
- Enforce site rules and warn violators of infractions
- Conduct routine patrols to identify safety and security risks
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Complete accurate and timely reports and documentation
- Follow proper escalation-of-force procedures, including armed response when required
- Maintain proficiency with assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and firearms
- Support management with site oversight and leadership responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
